Francois Morissette is making some world-class, cool-climate wines in Ontario, Canada! After working for some of the greatest vignerons in Burgundy, names including Frederic Mugnier, Domaine Henri Gouges, and Domaine Roulot - he moved back home to Canada to apply his skill and knowledge. As you might expect, this is a Pinot for Burgundy lovers, but will also appeal to fans of elegant Oregon Pinots. Right out of the gate, this has an absolutely gorgeous nose - but give it an hour and this will really come into its own. Lush, ethereal, and complex - this is full of detailed dark red fruit and spices. An absolute pleasure to drink. Pair with roast duck, chicken, or salmon with mushroom sauce and this wine will sing!
