(1/31/2024) "The 2021 Milk & Honey is a blend of 72% Tempranillo, 19% Syrah, 7% Mourvedre and 2% Petit Verdot matured for 18 months in 84% new French oak. It has slowly blossoming scents of blackcurrant, coffee, chocolate, aniseed and garrigue. The full-bodied palate has youthfully coiled, mineral-laced fruit. It has chalky tannins, bright acidity and a long, savory finish. It will benefit from a few years in bottle. 1,030 cases were made. Drink 2025 - 2035."
(5/2023) "The 2021 Milk and Honey is dusty and floral with confectionary spice, blueberry and sweet smoke aromas. This washes easily across the palate, soft and supple, slowly gaining tension as mineral-tinged red and black fruit saturate the palate. This finishes with tension, leaving a combination of grippy tannins and minerals that tug at the cheeks. The Milk and Honey is Russell From's ode to Spanish wine. It's a sexy blend of 72% Tempranillo, 19% Syrah, 7% Mourvedre and 2% Petit Verdot. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2032."
