It's one hell of a ripe, sexy Syrah loaded with notions of blackberries, smoked meats, ground pepper, and iron. Full-bodied, concentrated, and powerful, it has a great mid-palate, ripe tannins, and a great finish. If you're looking for one bombastic, opulent Syrah that stays balanced and incredibly drinkable, this puppy will scratch that itch!"

(5/2022) The 2018 Nuts & Bolts Syrah is all gas, no brakes. It has a LOUD nose bursting with ripe black and blue fruits, freshly cracked pepper, olive tapenade, smoke and cured meat. At 15.7% ABV, there is plenty of weight and tannic structure to go around, and it is all surrounded by a lush mid-palate and soft finish that goes on for days.

(12/30/2022) "The 2020 Syrah Nuts and Bolts comes from seven different vineyards in the Central Coast, including Chelle Mountain, Bien Nacido and G2. Matured for 18 months in 90% new French oak, it features aromas of candied blueberries, blackberries, grilled game meats, iron and garrigue. The full-bodied palate is slightly rustic and chewy with restrained, spicy fruits, and a somewhat blocky, slightly bitter finish. 835 cases produced."
