(11/1/2022) "What a fantastic showing. It opens with heady aromas of ripe dark-skinned berries, Mediterranean brush and blue flowers, but it's the palate that will win you ever. It's thoroughly delicious, boasting juicy black cherry, raspberry compote and licorice, as well as hint of blood orange. Polished, enveloping tannins provide seamless support while a hint of crushed flint marks the close."
(5/2023) Located 650 meters above sea level in the contrada of Randazzo, the entire vineyard is around 10 hectares, with only the oldest one hectare parcel utilized for this single vineyard bottling. Stunningly gorgeous, presenting near endless layers of light and dark red berry fruit, subtle notes of orange rind, Mediterranean spices, hints of balsamic and salty minerality that combine seamlessly on an ultra-refined palate. The wine glides with grace and elegance, presenting a texture so silky and seductive that it is near impossible not to smile. We see all the layers and complexity in this wine peaking two to three years down the road.
