Marc Serguier is the sixth generation of his family growing grapes in the Southern Rhone. One of our most reliable French import partners is from the same village as Marc, bringing his wines to market directly, bypassing traditional logistical markups. It allows us to bring you an authentic Cotes-du-Rhone at pricing that harkens back to a decade ago! His "Friandise" is a blend of Grenache, with smaller percentages of Syrah and Counoise, from estate vines averaging 40 years of age. The wine gives classic red berry, earth and pepper flavors atop a rounded, balanced structure. Perfect as an everyday red partnered with burgers, pasta and sausages. We love it.
