Named after their son, winemaking superstars Jean-Marc and Eliane Lafage make this wine entirely from their estate planings. It's a deep red, built on 100% Grenache and it drinks like a Chateuneuf junior, with black raspberry, cassis concentrate, pepper, roasted herbs, cocoa nibs and, as with all Jean-Marc wines, a soft strucutre that is lifted with minerals and energy. Classy and forward, yet carries a sense of place and soulfulness, it's a lovely Lafage effort that old and new world wine lovers will devour!
