He bottles sexy, fully flavorful Chardonnays that give sweet wood spice, plump textures, and complex flavors of fruit and minerality. This special bottling from Saint-Veran is forward and giving, with a range of apple, pear, and lemon flavors, all atop a core of chalky minerality. It compares favorably to $50 White Burgs from further North.
