(6/2022) Marsanne is rarely bottled varietally, and when it is, it's usually expensive. We, however, direct-import the wines of Domaine Barou and can offer this delicious bottling for a fantastically low price. This grape commonly produces fat wines with low energy - but not here! Dense yes, but plenty of vibrant freshness! Looks for flavors of cashew butter, white flowers, banana and yellow plums. The wine finishes slightly chewy from skin contact and will be excellent by itself, with French Onion Soup or Shrimp Scampi.
