(11/2022) Sebastien Christophe is one of the rising stars in Chablis. Using fruit planted in 1981 by his uncle, in one of the three premier cru sites he harvests from, he is crafting extraordinary Chardonnay. This Fourchaume is a tour de force, muscular and dense, it's a mineral bomb. Bursting flavors of lemon curd, white peach, wet rocks, limestone, salty nectarines, it gives impressive weight, bracing acidity and formidable structure. Delicious now, this wine will be fantastic over the next 15 years.
