(8/2021) The elder sibling to Vin Chicago favorite Bodegas Atalaya "Laya," this colossal inky-red wine is full of deep, dark fruit and spice. Made primarily from Garnacha Tintorera (aka Alicante Bouschet), it has a brooding character of stewed black pitted fruit. The addition of 15% Monastrell (aka Mourvedre) adds subtle aromas of smoke and charcuterie. If this full-bodied monster had a volume dial, it would be turned up to eleven!
